Designed for both small businesses and large-scale operations, the Kaiou DTF Printer offers unmatched flexibility, reliability, and high-quality output. Enhance your printing capabilities and expand your business potential with this state-of-the-art DTF printer.
Prepare the Design:
Use graphic design software (like Adobe Photoshop or CorelDRAW) to create or edit your design. Ensure the design fits within the maximum print width of 300mm and is in a supported file format (PDF, JPEG, or TIFF).
Load the Printer with PET Film:
Load the PET film into the printer, ensuring it is aligned correctly to avoid misprints. Make sure the film is clean and free from dust or debris.
Set Up the Printer:
Turn on the printer and connect it to your computer via the Gigabit Network Port. Open the RIP software (such as Maintop 6.1) and select your design file. Adjust the print settings according to your needs (choose between 4-pass for faster printing or 6-pass for higher quality).
Prepare the Ink System:
Ensure the ink tanks are filled with textile pigment ink, and the white ink is properly agitated. The printer’s ink supply system includes white ink agitation and circulation to maintain consistency.
Start Printing:
Once the settings are configured, initiate the print job. The printer will begin printing your design onto the PET film. The built-in infrared drying system will help dry the ink instantly, minimizing the risk of smudging.
Apply the Adhesive Powder:
After printing, move the PET film to the shake powder machine. Evenly coat the printed film with hot melt adhesive powder to ensure the design adheres properly to the fabric during heat pressing.
Cure the Powder:
Place the PET film with adhesive powder under a heat press or in a curing oven to melt the powder and make it ready for transfer.
Transfer the Design:
Position the cured PET film onto the desired fabric. Use a heat press machine to transfer the design onto the fabric. Apply heat and pressure as per the garment’s specifications.
Peel and Finish:
After the fabric cools down, carefully peel off the PET film. Inspect the fabric for any defects and perform quality control checks to ensure the print is perfect.
Clean the Printer:
After use, clean the printer, especially the print heads and the ink system, to maintain its longevity and performance.
